How to read the figure and the table
The population is the past seasons of players who are still active. Retired players are not included because their dates of birth are not available from the official pages, so players who left the game young are not counted.
The vertical value is the numbers for each age band set against the highest band at 100. The underlying figures are not published. The dots are this season's individual values and can go above 100.
Age bands with few players are merged with the neighbouring band. The figure is for reading a tendency of the group, not for pointing to any single player's future. It is a separate thing from the ratings.

Are retired players included?
No. Dates of birth are available from the official pages only for active players. Players who left the game young are therefore missing, and the older bands look better than they really were.
