About

Purpose

This site aims to critically analyze and record historical events in Japanese professional baseball (NPB). We cover a wide range of topics including controversies and issues, prioritizing factual accuracy in our content.

Editorial Policy

All articles are written with a focus on factual accuracy. Claims and analyses are supported by evidence, and we strive to make our content easy for readers to evaluate.

Information Reliability

• Data such as game results and player statistics is based on official NPB records. The numeric data in the record trackers and the pennant race archive is based on the same source.
• Each article displays its last updated date to indicate the freshness of its content.
• This site is personally operated by きゅうしろう (Kyushiro). Inquiries are accepted through the contact form on each page.

Data sources

Numeric data such as game results, player statistics and standings is based on the following official records. Where any page differs from the official records, the official records take precedence.

Club payroll totals are taken from the annual salary survey published by the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association (before tax, registered players, as of the start of the season).
