Ratings and statistics by player

S A B C D E F G S goes only to a player who stands far apart within the same role in this season's rating, so some seasons have none. For this season's rating, S is the top and G the lowest; within a letter, + ranks above −. Players with little playing time show —. The last 3 seasons column rates that span. How to read the ratings

How to read this table

Each row is one player, with two rating columns: this season on the left and the recent seasons on the right. The number columns are batting average and home runs for batters, and earned run average plus one role-specific column for pitchers.

Opening the detailed stats below the table shows the raw numbers side by side, such as games and runs batted in. How to read the ratings is gathered on the player data hub.

Frequently asked questions

Why do some players show a dash instead of a rating?

Those players have not yet reached 100 plate appearances this season (30 innings pitched for pitchers), or do not reach the line even when the most recent seasons are combined. Players on a development contract do not receive a rating either. Players with little playing time are not listed in the table.

How are players who changed clubs during the season handled?

The Hiroshima batters table shows the statistics from the spell with this club. Only the recent-seasons column adds together spells with different clubs in the same league.

When are the figures updated?

Updated with the official statistics up to the previous day. The reference date appears under the heading. At the end of the season the figures are fixed to the final statistics.
