Pacific League Batting Titles 2026: AVG, HR

For the six Pacific League batting categories, the top five players and the gap to the leader from this season's official statistics. Categories with a qualification list only players who currently meet it.

Player names are shown in Japanese.

How to read this table

  • Batting average, on-base percentage, earned run average and winning percentage list only players who meet the official qualification (qualifying plate appearances, qualifying innings, 13 wins). The line is prorated to the games each club has played up to the reference date, and players not on course to qualify by the end of the season are left out of the order.
  • The odds are an estimate from the games remaining and the current gap. Players level on the same figure all take the title, so a category can add up to more than 100 %. The rate categories also fold in the chance of qualifying, and odds that round down to zero are shown as less than 1 %.
  • Games remaining is the club's full schedule for this season minus the games played up to the reference date. It stands for the games a batter can appear in or a pitcher can be used in, so the same number means different things by category. Odds is a percentage and Left is a number of games.
  • The figures come from the official statistics as of the reference date and change day by day during the season. They are final once the season ends.
  • In the stolen base category SB is stolen bases, CS is caught stealing and SB % is the success rate.

How the order and the odds are decided

This page reorders this season's first-team official statistics by category and shows the top five players together with the gap to the leader, the odds of taking the title and the games their club has left. The figures themselves are the official ones.

Batting average, on-base percentage, earned run average and winning percentage have an official qualification. During the season the line is prorated to the games each club has played, so the set of qualified players changes from day to day.

The odds come from playing out the remaining games again and again. For each player the rest of the season is drawn from their own figures for this season and the level of the league, and the odds are the share of those seasons in which the player ends on top of the category. Players level on the same figure both take the title, so one category can add up to more than 100 %. Player condition, expected usage and injury information are not used.

Frequently asked questions

Where do players who do not meet the qualification appear?

They do not appear. In the Pacific League batting categories decided by a rate, only players who meet the current qualification are listed, and players not on course to qualify by the end of the season are also left out. Categories decided by a count have no qualification, so a player with few appearances is listed as long as there is a figure.

How are the odds decided?

The remaining games are played out many times and the odds are the share of those seasons in which the player ends on top of the category. In the rate categories the chance of reaching the qualification by the end of the season is folded in as well. Players level on the same figure both take the title, so one category can add up to more than 100 %. The word 'Final' appears only when nobody else can reach the leader's lowest possible figure even at their own highest; otherwise the odds stop at 99 %.

Does this page decide the award winners?

No. This page only lays out the statistics as of the reference date; the official awards are decided from the final statistics of the season and the rules of each award. The handling of ties and the range of games counted also follow the official rules.
