Overview
The bullpen is where relief pitchers wait and warm up during games. The term also refers to the entire relief pitching corps. In NPB stadiums, bullpens are located beyond foul territory or under the stands. A 'bullpen day' refers to the strategy of using only relievers without a traditional starter.
